I am originally from Sydney, where I was born and raised with two deep passions that have shaped my life: animals and art. In 2010, I began working as a veterinary nurse, a career that allowed me to care for and connect with countless animals over the years. This work was not only incredibly fulfilling but also became a rich source of inspiration for my creative pursuits.

In 2022, I relocated to the beautiful Albury Wodonga region, trading the fast pace of city life for a closer connection to nature and a quieter, more creative lifestyle. In 2025, I made the life-changing decision to resign from veterinary nursing and dedicate myself fully to my art.

My art style is vibrant, expressive, and highly textural, with a strong focus on animals and the natural world. I work primarily with acrylics and mixed media, often incorporating bold brushstrokes, layered textures, and playful color palettes to bring each subject to life. My work blends realism with a creative twist—capturing the unique personality and spirit of each animal while allowing room for artistic interpretation.

Many of my portraits feature lifelike detail, while others explore more abstract or stylized techniques, such as mosaic-like patterns, geometric shapes, or digital-inspired pixelation. I love experimenting with different visual approaches, from rich, painterly realism to whimsical, colour-splashed silhouettes.

Texture plays an important role in my process, both visually and physically. I often build up layers of paint and mediums to create depth and dimension, which adds a tactile quality to each piece. Whether it's a soulful dog, a vibrant bird, or a kaleidoscopic cat, each creation is designed to celebrate the beauty, individuality, and emotional connection we share with animals.

In addition to painting, my creativity extends into crafts like sewing, jewellery making, and drawing, allowing me to explore different materials and techniques while maintaining a consistent passion for capturing life through art.
